Overall Description of Works

The works comprise the repair and conservation of the existing masonry and stonework, including careful removal of defective materials and making good to match the existing fabric. Render repairs and renewal were undertaken where deterioration has occurred, using appropriate materials compatible with the existing structure.

Structural fabric repairs will be carried out where required to ensure the stability and integrity of the building. In addition, the design and supply of new coping stones and string courses will be undertaken to match the existing architectural detailing.

Works to the Orangery included the design, supply, and installation of new stone and flint finishes, ensuring that all materials, workmanship, and detailing are sympathetic to the character and appearance of the existing structure.
