Summary of Works

Overall Description of Works

Undertaking essential masonry and roofing works to this historic rural church, the project included the design and installation of full scaffolding access with platform hoisting to facilitate safe working at high level.

Specialist masonry repairs were carried out, including the supply and installation of new natural stone indents to tracery windows and buttresses, together with careful conservation works to the historic stone tracery.

External masonry was protected through the application of breathable sheltercoat finishes, while areas of historic flintwork were rebedded and consolidated using appropriate lime-based techniques.

The existing rainwater goods were overhauled to improve drainage performance, and the nave roof was fully renewed with a new Kent peg tile covering to ensure the long-term protection of the building.
